How much say do the players get in a decision like this? Or is it strictly an upper management / ownership type of thing?

Genuinely asking.

You're way off, current status shows the largest increases are in cases are in:

Maine
Minny
Washington
Oklahoma
Illinois
Texas
Wisconsin
California

Listed in order.

Not sure, but you may be misinterpreting the facts... largest increases is not the same as largest totals... idk

Largest total COVID-19 cases is Texas, then California. Florida is 3rd.

Yeah, we really don't care about covid down here. Very little restrictions; bars, gyms, and beaches are all open.

Great sports town. Decent airport for east travel with basically everything within an hour and a half. Moderate weather. Current leadership unlikely to lock the state down and torpedo the economy.

Will this lower player's taxes as they won't be taxed at canadian income tax rates for home games?

Hey North, you're south, shut your big mouth...
When will we just change the name of 25 of the 30 teams to the Washington Generals?

Please advise….

The Toronto blue jays spring training is is Dunedin Florida, about and hour or so north of Tampa. Maybe that had a little bit to do with them choosing tampa as well. Some sort of fa base down there already potentially.

Hella sucks for the Raps that they're the only team to has to live and play on the road. Not exactly the fairest of situations.
Gonna miss KP but he's no Georges Niang.

If keep going down this road, we'll be left with like 14 states.
