I don't know... Schroeder for Green and the 28th overall pick from a super weak draft was not a good deal IMO.
But Presti is still one of the best executives in the league without a doubt. Top 3 in my books.

Oubre will stay. The Thunder have 17 1st rounders over the next 6 years. They have plenty of assets. Especially after they flip Rubio.

I think it's a good trade for the Suns. With the arena renovation, they need to be competitive to drum up excitement ASAP. I think that factored into this as well

He def should give classes in Manipulation. So many GM would’ve been stuck with Westbrook and CP3 contracts with no return.

99% of realgm thought paul was a horrible contract because he had one down year. Not like people here knew any better.

Have to give my standard take on not hyping up GMs too much: I think Presti is one of the better and more principled GMs around, but none of this ish is wizardry. The Rockets called him last year and he correctly gauged their interest in dumping a well paid and pretty broken CP3 for Westbrook, then he got lucky that CP3 was both healthy and terrific this year and correctly gauged PHX's interest in him when they called. He had assets other teams wanted and he held out for the best return. Not rocket science, just some basic moves that he played well and that worked for him thanks to some good fortune.

Eventually he needss to put ut all together for a championship. OKC needs to manipulate the draft to gets its superstar to get Presti his championship

Looking at his transaction and draft history, this was the only real blemish in 14 years. And ownership forced him to do something when they refused to pay Harden what he wanted.

I think we are beginning to vastly overrate the man. Outside of the 3 MVPs he's basically done nothing. He's drafted several athletic wings who can't shoot, and missed on several picks. People act like he's going to draft some superstar level player with all the picks he has. Stop getting infatuating with the first round pick.

A 1st round pick is like a fancy sports car. The idea is great but once you drive it off the lot (draft a player) it loses ridiculous value.
