If you have the firestick download a app called Pluto. I believe ESPN is on there for free and thats where the draft is on.

Let me know if that works for you so I can feel some sort of self accomplishment today

Thanks. It doesnt have ESPN but it has 2 channels with Draft Coverage!

In a while? Last year was crazy

I'm talking about in terms of where players are going to be picked and how far some teams are going to reach for players. Last year's lottery pretty much went down the way most mocks had it projected.

Interesting...anyone know??

Interesting question. I've seen picks purchased for cash before, but I believe there are limitations to abide by.

I'm curious to know if any cash that's expensed for a pick impact the cap?

It doesn’t impact the cap. The money comes out of owners’ pocket. Teams usually sell 2nd round draft picks if they already have enough depth so they don’t want to commit money to a 2nd round player.

1st round draft picks do get sold but very rarely from what I recall. I think Detroit sold 30th to Cavs last year which became Kevin Porter Jr.

So theoretically Balmer could offer $50M for the #2 pick or whatever and the other team can accept? How has Microsoft been doing? :o

No, there’s a limit to how much you can spend on draft picks. In 2016-17 it was around 3.5 million. Last year it was around 5.5 I believe. So it’s slowly going up but it’s still nowhere near enough to get lottery picks.

Edit: It was 5.6 mil last year. Keep in mind that 5.6 mil isn’t just for spending on draft picks though. That’s team’s entire cash consideration budget. So if they send some amount of cash in a trade, that comes out of that budget.

I'm amazed how much hype lamelo has from the media.

He shot 38% from the field and 25% from 3.

Also he was the number one option on the worst team in the league by far and besides that 30pt triple double infant remember a very memorable performances.

At least RJ Hampton has the excuse that the breakers where a basket case last year and probably had their worst year on and off the court in franchise history.

Christ the wolves are still trying to deal that pick.

Houston should get on the phone tbh or do a deal with Chicago and get Carter Jr and 4.

I think so but I hope no one posts spoilers here before the team selects a player, it ruins the experience of enjoying the draft
