Harden's game is far from perfect, but you rarely see someone with his talents being shopped. A lot of teams should be jumping at the opportunity to get him.

What kind of package do you see the Rockets getting for him?

Carris Levett and Jarred Allen are the starting pieces from the Nets..then throw in at least two future first round picks.. Carris is at the tip of breaking out this season.

The problem is his bad rep as a locker room guy combined with his interest in being on a top team. That leaves very few who would consider trading what Houston wants for him.

And almost nobody except GS and OKC now has any valuable-looking picks from other teams.

Caris hasn't been able to string together healthy seasons since high school. Jared Allen has absolutely no star potential, he's a solid rim-running big.

The Heat could put together an interesting package to pair Harden and Butler. Herro, Duncan Robinson, Bam, even Nunn are all great pieces

Going after a young star is definitely the best route.

Donovan Mitchell for example is the type of guy to go after.

This is probably not going to happen, but New Orleans has probably the most value in terms of picks they could throw at Houston for Harden (OKC too but they are in tank command). I don't think it'll happen but it would be a fun hypothesis to see Harden with Zion & Ingram. Ball would be a part of the trade as well. The nightlife would also attract Harden so there's that

Mitchell

Simmons or Embiid realistically. I think the discussion starts and ends there.

If I'm the Rockets, I'm holding out until I get one of them.

No way in hell Jazz give up DM for Harden - not the right roster for an uber ball dominant player like Harden.

Problem is Harden has the "my way or the highway" attitude.

Basically... Make players fit around me and ensure the system revolves around me... Now make us the champion's that way.

Even Lebron will not want players who aren't willing to sacrifice to LeBron's system. Only difference is Lebron is actually one of the best on court coaches and fortunately his system involves hard defense focus... Which helps in the playoffs.

I want my Magic to offer Gordon, Fultz, Bamba and picks. No guaranteed stars but someone can break out

Realistically I think they get Ben Simmons. Philly can’t wait for him to learn how to shoot
