Bogdanovic looking for a 4/72 contract. Is that too much for him ?

Post#1 » by Veselyfan » Fri Nov 20, 2020 6:46 pm

So obviously Bogdanovic is not going to the Bucs, and he will be a restricted free agent. Reports are that he is looking for a 4 year 72 milion deal. Is he worth that much ?

I personally believe Bogdan is a great player and could help a lot of conteders, but they cant afford that much money on him..

I think he deserves it more than Joe Harris, but I’m not sure either is worth that price without the cap jumping up

This amount is about right.

Maybe due to situation 10 mil less but not more.
He's 28 years old and at his peak and he is an underrated offensive player.

This guy can really score, can create his own shot and is not afraid of big moments.

He is definitively worth that contract and will probably get it done. Bucks are hardly the only interested team.

That’s where I have his bottom price. Not sure it comes via offer sheet. And I’m worried that offer the draft night debacle if anyone even feels comfortable negotiating an S/T with the Kings FO.

That’s a good value contract for Bogdan. Any team with the caps space should be willing to do that.

I had Bogdan at somewhere between 13-16M/year... 18/yr sounds a bit rich, but...I don't think it's out of the realm of possibility

Its around market value. The problem for the Kings is that they cant pay their two SG a combined 40m.

I wouldnt be surprised about a S&T to the Mavs

18m is a very reasonable contract even if the cap goes a bit lower.

That would be great for the Kings. Kings fans are not in love with the idea of paying big money to him because we watch him day in day out and know hes not the guy realgm has been making him out to be these last few days.

I’ll do it.

The Kings should move Buddy right after the Kings manage to retain Bogdan.

I hate to see them $$$ locked on a single position. Especially for a 30-win team.

Move forward with a Fox/Bogdan (+ Haliburton) core and start from there.

It isn't too much if someone is willing to give it to him. All it takes is one.

I just want to know where he ultimately ends up since it's looking more and more likely that Milwaukee is out of the picture. I loved that fit for all parties involved.

18m is right value.

Weird thing is that 72m/4 contract would start at about 16m in first year, which is very close to what Bucks were meant to be paying him.

Whenever you get a free agent unless its a max guy you are usually overspending. I could see ATL giving him that and putting him in the starting lineup with Tre and Clint.

Seems like a fair deal for a 28 years young 6'6" wing who can spread the floor and offer good secondary playmaking.

If Bojan Bogdanovic got 4 years 73 million from the Jazz then I can't see why Bogdan Bogdanovic can't get 4 years 72 million from a team.

Not that I am comparing the two in any way  .

That's about right.

It's the kinda money VanVleet should be making as well.

Agree, Kings should keep Bogdan over Hield.

Bogdan should be a better fit with Fox and Haliburton.

I read a report where Haliburton wanted the Kings and saw an interview with Fox on NBA TV that he was pleased that the Kings drafted Haliburton.

Kings have the looks of a very good 3 guard core there.
