This guy is really solid and I'm baffled why a contender can't sign him as their offensive spark off the bench

he is a journeyman who can score. Perfect guy when u need to rest ur main guys but need buckets. Good price too.

Addresses the shooting we need. Good contract too. Don’t see him finishing the season with us. He’ll definitely be trade deadline bait. This was a great move.

Cause that contender rather trade us a 2023 second rounder for him around the deadline

Good move for the Knicks.
Not sure for him. I suppose there's a general idea that this will be another Morris signing and he'll get moved to a contender mid season after putting up good numbers in a bigger role. But there's no guarantee that happens.

I feel like Burks is " Auditioning" every season to see if anyone will overpay him. If that green light he had in GSW only got him 6m then he needs to reevaluate his game or fire agent
