First and foremost, this is Filthadelphia's annual gig. I'm starting it now because I didn't hear from you and it should be started now to finish it before opening night (keeping in mind the typical number of tiebreakers). Filthadelphia, I'd be more than happy for you to take over the reigns. Just let me know. I'm not even completely confident I'll be able to consistently post these, but I'll do my best in your absence. Now, onto the thread.

Your favorite offseason debate is back by popular demand!
Thanks to everyone who voted last go around I'm excited to see where the 3rd annual edition ends up.

Here's the Rules:
-Vote ONE player per poll. You'll be able to change your vote just like last year for those indecisive folks.
-The criteria of ranking the players is YOUR OWN. The whole point of bringing this to the GB is to attract the widest amount of votes/perspectives on the game as possible to form a true consensus. Some people value shooting over defense, team success over individual prowess etc. I want to bake all that into this poll set no matter how chaotic.
-Each poll a player will win and then be taken out of the field. There will be 25 polls in all.
-There are only 10 possible poll options so I will start with 7 of the 10 guys who were voted into the Top 10 last year (Kawhi, Giannis, LeBron, Curry, Harden, AD, and Jokic. Then I will make a slight adjustment by removing Embiid, Lillard, and PG and replacing them with Luka, Jimmy Butler, and KD, who I think have a higher chance of someone voting them #1. Of course, you can still nominate them to show up on the next poll.
-As each poll commences I ask you to COMMENT IN THE THREAD your vote for who should be added in the next poll. There will be a large list of players yet to be added to the field below that you can look over to make your vote. I will tally up the votes in the comments at the end of each poll and add the winner accordingly. For example, if you want Bryn Forbes added in the next poll just comment "Nominate: Bryn Forbes"
-If a poll is overwhelmingly skewed towards one guy I will try, time willing, to edit it early and move on to the next one.
-If there is a tie in the poll. There will be a run-off poll created with just the tying parties to determine a winner. The losers of the runoff will then be added back into the field of 10 for the next poll.

Anunoby should be on the nom list. Imo he’s better last year than about 10 on the list and still young. But I’m crazy and think defence matters especially after the first two tiers of superstars

Lebron by a landslide

Other than Doncic, the other top 5 players just weren't close to Lebron in the playoffs, assuming the other 3 are Giannis, Leonard and Harden. This is a no brainer, Lebron. I'd love to see Lebron get his 5th MVP, matching MJ, and just one short of Kareem. I can see him kinda coasting though with all his help and that this is his 18th season, with nothing really to prove in the regular season (unless he's chasing another MVP). I can't see them giving Giannis another one, don't see Durant returning from injury to get one, Doncic's Mavs wont be good enough, etc..
