Every concern I had about Anthony Edwards has been on full display thus far. I doubt he'll ever be an All Star.

He doesn't love the game.

Compare Edwards, who said he prefers football, to "8 mile" Payton Pritchard, who got blisters on his hands from working on his handle at 5 am every day.

everyone knows he plays for money. but the real question was he even that good when his college efficiency suffered?
Some guys are so talented they dont have to improve at all to become great and Edwards is def not one.
whats he going on rn was the most likely scenario same with Ball. very talented players but with fatal flaws and I would have not picked either with #1 and trade down for any offers.
compare that to hali/quickley who are less talented but knows how to play the game and posting near 50/40/90.
Doncic will be goat. Lauri will be his sidekick.

I think the perennial all star coming out of this draft will be Wiseman. From what I've seen so far, the second best player is probably Avdija. I'm also a big fan of the undrafted Nate Hinton, who I would put somewhere in the top 20 among all rookies.

16/8/5 for LaMelo with lockdown defense

I think the perennial all star coming out of this draft will be Ball. From what I've seen so far, the second best player is probably Haliburton

This is the first game where I was seriously questioning JB and his motives

If LaMelo had Graham's minutes its an easy triple double

LaMelo is showing better and faster than I think many expected. Pretty confident he's going to be a very good player. Happy for Hornets fans!

Honestly a decent number of rookies are making an early impact. Love to see it!

I think Saddiq Bey will have a legit shot at rookie of the year this year.

Okoro had a good game. Incredible on defense and strong slasher/finisher but playing a very limited offensive role so far.

One guy who I've been super impressed with is Cole Anthony. I was *not* much of a fan of him as a prospect but in b2b games against the Cavs hes impressed. His #s/efficiency werent great tonight but hes got a lot of raw talent. On offense he plays a bit out of control/over excited but seems to have a slash/pass/finish/attack game that can really blossom if in the right situation. His defense has been terrific in both games. He drew this charge vs Sexton while fighting through a screen that was a 1st team all defense play. He defended Sexton tough all over the court tonight including bodying him in the post blocking/contesting a shot while Sexton tried some vet moves to juke him.

With Fultz going down hes got a strong ROY shot IMO. He'll get the touches, the #s, and if the team makes the playoffs the storyline.

Haliburton stat line tonight:

W

Fox went down early with a hammy so Haliburton started the 2nd half.

Best player on the floor tonight for either team.

Hilarious how people said his jumpshot looked ugly and wouldn't translate to the NBA. I think he's the best rookie right now.
