Nobody likes Canada. Toronto's skyline had its run, but Masai is Giannis dad, saw how sad Drake was, and it bummed him out, and now he wants to captain his son to a championship as the POBO after getting paid by multiple billionaires with B's.

Masai has to see that the best player to join Toronto in free agency was Hedo? Landry Fields? Going to a market that can retain their superstars, unlike Toronto who has a proven record of losing guys like Carter, Bosh and Kawhi has to appeal to him. There's also the fact that Masai swam Giannis' mother on his back to Greece some 25+ years ago. Not to mention refusing to sign an extension yet?! All signs point to one thing.
