Should the Lakers trade their depth/future for a 3rd star to counter Net's move?

Should they try to get a two way, backcourt star that can handle and create the ball with good outside shooting? Basically an upgrade over Shoreder. Ideal PG would be Kyle Lowry but he is already 34 (price would be cheaper). Basketball wise, Lowry + Lebron + AD would be an amazing trio. If not Lowry, who else they can try to target?

No. They should enjoy their summer league title from last year and let LeBron age gracefully into the sunlight while getting beat down by KD in the finals for his few final years.

Kuzma on that contract has zero trade value. If he signed a cheaper deal then sure I could see some teams have interest maybe.

They emptied the chamber to get Davis. KCP has some value but not sure anyone gives up more than what he is worth to the Lakers.

The Lakers should remain as is. Maybe add another shooting big like Dedmon and they'll be fine.

They should consider anything that's on the table (besides trading LeBron/AD), but they don't need to make a move

Nope.

Lakers are dandy just as they are. If anything, we can add another role player, athletic center during the TD or when waived.

The Lakers only need repetition and gelling time. Let everyone else try to counter the Lakers. We good.

You don't have to say anything more, I understand.

Can't ignore the fact that the Nets have three of the top-10 offensive players in the league if they gel.

Also can't ignore that the Lakers have limited trade assets.

Why would we consider trading away useful players like Kuzma and KCP? They accept their roles and are performing well.

Both scoring and playing good D.

Idk what kind of star they can get. But I do know Zach Lavine is a fantastic third. Just between spot up shooting and floor running he’s 15ppg.

I mean why even bother? Nets have clearly won 2021 NBA championship. No asterisk. This one legitimately counts. Lakers just oughta rebuild TBH. Sell high before the Nets play a game and the whole league realizes they're cooked

The problem is there is only 1 ball and all 3 need the ball in their hands. Image the ego battles between Kyrie and Harden then KD does his passive aggressive stuff.

What a circus that will become. Who is going to play D and who is going to defend the rim now? The loss of Allen is HUGE!!
