the man is simply unbelievable whether or not he looks like the best during the regular season, he just continues to win.

If he wins the SB this year is he the sports GOAT? Does this put him clearly ahead of MJ, and Lebron as the best?

If he wins the SB, he would have gone through brees, rodgers, and most likely Mahomes in the SB (maybe Josh Allen)

He's fine, but NFL is a team sport. As team-y as you have in the US. He was far from great today but Bree's is shot and the Saints do what they normally do in the playoffs and give the game away (3 turnovers before garbage time, and all were just terrible TO's)

He got carried by his defense today similar to how he got carried by Bellichick's defense multiple seasons. He's still an elite QB and best ever though. But being the best ever doesn't get to 14 conf finals, he needs to get carried

Yes he is. I hate the guy as much as anyone for his cheating ways and political views, but he's the clear-cut GOAT.

Closing the deal and coming through in big games matters when talking about longevity and peak.

He's an elite QB who's also been a great benefactor of variance. Like i said, i dont think anybody who's watched football for the last 15 years would say he's a better player than Rodgers.

NFL isnt NBA. A great QB isnt really needed to win and a great QB doesnt even guarantee you make the playoffs let alone go deep. We're literally a year away from being a quarter away from Jimmy freakin Garoppolo winning the superbowl, and dude should probably be a backup in the NFL

2007 Brady was better than any season those guys had, especially accounting for era.

To the thread tho, an NFL player cant be the GOAT-est of all sports. That's way too team oriented

When it comes to sports GOATs, Wayne Gretzky is often too overlooked... and I'm not even that big a hockey fan.
He's the only athlete where this is absolutely no debate that he's the best in the sport.
