Are we gonna stop with the hot takes over a team whose main pieces in exception of one player have just started to get a taste of what winning looks like in their careers?

Crazy part if that the suns supporting cast has been great. It's their big 3 that have been struggling to find their synergy. I'd give it more time before even thinking the Suns screwed up because I still like their ceiling. They will be good!

paul needs to hit 3s better
Ayton booker and paul need to get to the line more
They need two guys better than Kaminsky and jevon carter.

Defense is better this season, and they have more shotmaking at the end of games.

They have room to improve, but I would think most people like the talent on their roster and how they are trying to play

I'm not sure thats worth a 2022 pick, but its protected for up to pick #12

I'm not even a paul fan and didn't want him on the knicks but it's almost as if the season isn't even close to being over yet.

Meh team's 8-8 with a ton of close losses man: 3pt loss to Sac, 5pt loss to LAC, 4pt loss to Memphis and 5pt loss to OKC and then 3x OT (1x 2OT) losses to DET and DEN(2x).

Yup, even when they were winning it was because of their bench and role guys playing extremely well. They’ve got good pieces, but their key players need to be better. I’m more skeptical of their “big 3” than you however.

I think OKC had a underrated deep team without the 'star' names. Schroder, Gallo, Adams, SGA, Dort, etc + Paul. A ton of ball handling and scoring.

Can't tell me that's any worse than current Suns. OKC's level is about where the Suns will be. First round exit at best.

Suns were overrated and adding Paul did not make them West Contenders. Booker and Ayton aren't hugely winning players right now.

Yeah this has been the issue. Not Paul and Crowder who have both been fine.

I think the problem is the OP saw 8-0 in the bubble and thought to himself if they just stand pat, hello undefeated season. :D

They lost two games in a combined 3 overtimes against the Nuggets. One of those games was without Devin Booker. All of their losses, aside from the 1 game against the Wizards, have been VERY close and this is still a young team.

Also, CP3 is not turning down 44 million per year next year. So theyll have him for at least 1 more season.

Booker doesn't suit the slow pace that CP3 creates.

couldn't this conversation have happened after their game against the Warriors tonight??? Seriously tho, it's still early in the season, they have had games canceled due to Covid, and their roster hasn't been whole

They would not be any worse with Rubio, younger and tied up for longer.

Ricky Rubio is shooting 34% fg.

He's made only 16 shots in his past 11 games. 0 of them have been three pointers.

He has career lows in:

PPG, Reb, APG, FG%, 3fg%.
