What does that mean? Not much better than whom? The wizards?

Too many times somebody starts off with a :-) thinking they’re trolling me and they end up getting real quiet.

The Lakers with Davis or a much better team than without Davis. At full strength they are better than the wizards but not as much as the disparity in their respective record would make you think
Bye bye Beal.

Is that not at least fair to bring up now?

You can't fluke a series in the playoffs, every team was on the same standing. Most of those teams underperforming this season are because of fatigue and injury from those playoffs.

Miami and Denver also lost key role players in FA and they had the shortest off season.

And im not sure how bubble would have benefited Lakers more than other teams. They werent particularly hot from 3 in those empty gyms, and had the most playoff experience out of any team so wouldnt be fazed by playing in a normal setting
