This situation reminds me of the Carlisle pistons era where they have the right pieces, but were missing that big name coach who instills a defensive culture into the team. He has history with the franchise having coached there from 74-79, so I would assume he may have interest in the job. What do you guys think?

Not sure how Brown fits in the modern NBA. He hasn't coached the NBA since 2011 and he is a very old school coach.

He's also 80 so he's not coming back.

Dude, LB is a legend but wayyyyy too old.
Besides, Malone is a solid coach. No need to pull the plug midseason imo. They are a young team still figuring things out, and they've got time to figure things out. You don't want to waste any seasons obviously but their window is just opening.

No they shouldn't, but D'antoni would be interesting for that team. And yes, I think he would mesh fine with Jokic. That said, no reason to get rid of Malone whatsoever.

I literally think a guy his age coming from the couch to the sideline could end up killing him. Its such a consuming job. Pops never stopped so he is still used to the stresses. Brown would be jumping in with the sharks basically.
