BTW, last season Simmons was All-Defensive 1st Team.....while Embiid was not even All-Defensive.

Myles Turner isn't a superstar and plays on a team no one ever watches, may as well just remove him from this poll.

It's taken me some time to come around to really appreciate him, but I think Royce O'Neale is amazing.

He does a lot of little things no defense that add a lot of value, but as a man defender (which is his main role) I think he leaves something to be desired. He's kind of a B+ level defender across a variety of positions and much worse than that against quicker guards.

Voting Embiid again. He was #2 on my board, but I think it's understandable to vote AD or Turner. Turner would probably be #2 on DPOY list this season.

I think this is accurate. He's, IMO a top 10-12 perimeter defender, but that probably doesn't translate to more than about the 30th most impactful defender in the league (ish).
