He was getting slandered online last night

Is he in the wrong or are people making a big deal out of nothing?

thats actually worse than the raptor fans cheering when durant got hurt imo. hes presently a player, he shouldnt wish injury on nobody, and secondly hes presently recovering from surgery..... but its dlo tweeting,who cares? we know that guy shouldnt be allowed to use his phone haha

He's not doing Ant any favors in the PR department. Bad timing on the tweet. Lamelo was the clear front runner for ROY.

Not a good look....Awful timing for this tweet especially since his team have the worst record in the NBA despite a current 20 game losing streak for Houston

It's nothing. Ball is out for the season and Edwards is very likely to win the ROY because of it.

This is just DLo being a good teammate. He didn't tweet anything crazy or ridiculous.

He hated Lamelo from the jump. Cried and whined to the t-wolves until they promised not to draft him.

He is a hater and its obvious and now he is jealous that Lamelo showed more promise in 42 games than he has his whole career.

It was in poor taste but it is coming from a guy that normally has poor taste so no surprise

D. Lo is a certified sucker, and he's been one since I saw him pass the ball as soon as a defender approached him on the perimeter in the summer league 6 years ago and since he inadvertently snitched on Nick Young. Just a total lame that's robbing Minnesota blind. Kid is a loser.

funny thing is that if DLo stays off the court the Wolves have a better chance of winning and Edwards has a better chance at ROY.

Russell is an immature child. Proven again.
A guy like IT with all his faults, never got paid.
Because of injuries like the one this kid is taking advantage of, to write something like this on such an inappropriate time.
And Russell got paid, despite being a lesser player. And human being.

I agree. However, Halliburton has come back down to earth after the ASB while Edwards has been improving significantly. If that keeps up, I think Edwards will overtake him (especially because voters tend to reward raw stats more as well).

Possibly. Edwards has been given a different role and will stack up more points because of it.

And historically, the ROY award does seem to gravitate towards the player with the highest ppg far too often,m. But the award voters are becoming a younger, more statistical savvy group that will see the huge difference in their effectiveness level beyond ppg.
