He's technically been the best player since 2018 just injuries have robbed him of his years as the top dog of the league.

Another ring or two with a finals MVP will have him above Bird no doubt. Best player taller than 6'6 of all time

Maybe he's the best scorer over 6'6" but not the best player. I can think of at least four better options.

Harden and Embiid are better this year, Giannis is arguable. And that's just in the East.

Durant has a very what if legacy imo. I think he has a top 12 all time resume in terms of accolades once he’s finished or higher but his legacy is a fair way behind players playing right now (LBJ, Curry).

He still hasn’t led his “own” team to a championship. Even this year is questionable Nets have a 28/5/6 3rd option on 50/40/90 basically ffs

Check the lineup net ratings you idiot. The harden and Harden/Kyrie lineups are by far the worst of any lineups featuring any of the big 3， and as someone that watches all nets games the eye test supports it. Harden ball puts a cap on how good the team can be although they do wonders for his stats. A 20/6/8 Harden shooting 50/40 is way better than a 30/10/10 harden shooting 40/30 with 5 turnovers

The record after KD was hurt is due to 1) the team gelling 2) Claxtons defense 3) Nash finally figuring out what he wants to do with the team

He's been the best since 2017 but injuries happened so people picked kawhi and Giannis in 19 and 20. KD was on a tear in the playoffs before going down in 19. Would've won another fmvp.

Yeah he’s firmly in there. He has top ten all time ability imo. But it’s probably too far gone/never know sort of deal.
