Does Lore have any ties to Minnesota? Asking for a friend.

Spoiler:
Guys, I'm somewhat new at this. Where's the sarcasm emoji?

Lore and A-Rod really got that much bank? there must be some heavy hitters behind them

forbes values Minny at 1.4b right now as of Feb

it'll probably cost them closer to 2bil if I'm gonna guess

A-Rod make at least 450-500 millions just in his baseball career....

Glenn Taylor has passed up on billions of dollars to sell the team to people interested in moving the team, there is effectively zero chance that he would sell the Timberwolves without an agreement to keep them in Minnesota.

ARod with help of JLo’s money and other investors already came pretty close to buying the Mets, I think they’re pretty serious and have the money behind them.

I think the Wolves come in under $2B. Smaller, northern market. Utah went for $1.7B last year. That seems reasonable. And maybe Covid has forced the prices down a bit.

I dont get how so many people believe in the raptors, they have zero to chance to win it all.

To those who want a team in Seattle so bad...

You do realize you're advocating for the very thing that happened to Seattle in the first place, right?

That is, take a team away from an NBA city.

You would just want the same thing for Minnesota years later.

Instead, just hope when the league expands that Seattle gets a team again.

Definitely strange with ARods knowledge being in baseball, but he is a business man more than anything these days. Baseball would of been more natural, but it’s obvious he wanted in the sports ownership business.

As for money, even Arod needs a money guy. And Lore is a billionaire.
I beg to differ

It is. As much as Glens poured into keeping a team here and whatever...he’s probably 10+ years past his time. But yea..they ain’t moving out of a top 15 market no matter how much we suck. Glens a Minnesota guy too. There’ll be some agreements that the team stays put as much as we want the Sonics back

The key difference is that it would be a massive boon to the emotional health of Minnesotans if this team was moved.

Between ARod and Jlo they've got about 700m+ between the two of them and some estimations have Lore being worth 1b+.
