Interesting amount of schadenfreude in this thread.

Just like the Heatles, the Nets are vulnerable in their first year together.

It isn't always easy to turn things on like that. Fortunately you are in the East so you have that going for you. By the second round though things could get interesting for the nets.

I think they may crash and burn depending on who they face in the 1st round.

That's what you get when you have three obnoxious personalities join a team and a few prolific obnoxious posters constantly stanning them before they've done anything

The biggest super team in history that would take away league parity isn't healthy? Obviously I don't want teams to have injured players, but this is a bit of karma for trying to buy yourself a title.

its whatever and will be forgotten just like the KI missing personal time.

Nets only care about being healthy in the playoffs. harden should take his time and be ready for the playoffs.

Any way you slice it, not a good look to have KD and Harden rotating in and out of the lineup all season long w/ Kyrie taking his personal days off sprinkled in between

They honestly only need one of the big-2 playing in the first round, maybe even the second, so KD and Harden can alternate taking days off.

Hah preach! If the Heat get eliminated I'd like to root for BKN since I'm a Harden fan but if that were to happen I'd probably have to put these certain 2-3 posters on ignore, they're that insufferable

I mean I think the Nets have had a little luck...

How so? They've been cursed with injuries/COVID protocols since like the start of the year and have had zero opportunity to actually have their best players gel with each other.

It's ridiculous how unlucky they've been actually.

LOL did not know that. Watch them win a title this year lol.

That's exactly what I thought when I saw this name change, LOL.

He’s still cheering for the Clips—the new name is a way to avoid being flamed like he was last year.

There was never going to be an easy path for the Nets

They’ve been inconsistent, had a lot of injuries and lost both Dinwiddie and Aldridge

IF they’d managed to all stay healthy it would be a different story and I’d have them as favourites in the East

It would be cool if neither the Lakers or Nets end up in the finals and we get something like Suns vs Celtics

Besides the whole Rockets getting a butthurt owner who decided to sell one of the 5 best players in the league for one of the worst packages we've ever seen...ya, besides that, Nets been pretty unlucky

Nets the only super-team I would ever want to see in the first round. :x

Huh? The only unlucky break was Dinwiddie. Durant was coming off an Achilles injury. It's lucky he's even this good coming back. This is unprecedented in NBA history. But you'd have to budget him getting hurt again since he's on the wrong side of 30 and coming off an injury that creates muscular imbalances and didn't play ball for like 18 months. Then you have Kyrie who's also injured and flakey. All in all it seems pretty on par with expectation.
