Vegas is giving the Nets a 30% shot at the title, but a lot of people here are giving them a 25% of getting out of the first round. And it kind of makes sense. If they aren’t healthy, even a mediocre team will beat them.

Wizards now 8 straight, 10 of 11. Bumping this thread to serve as proof of my analytical skills. Nets and 76ers trying to out-tank eachother to avoid Wiz in the first round. Wiz going to the second round minimum. If they make the finals they're going to be a nightmare, with one of the best records against Western teams in the NBA.

The only "real" upsets in my life were the 2004 Pistons over the Lakers and the 2011 Mavs over the Heat.

People will come on these forums and spew garbage nonsense like Cavs were a clear upset over the Warriors, and Heat upset the Thunder, but that is just a bunch of BS. Those teams were only vegas upsets, and anyone who knows basketball knew those really weren't upsets.

Beating a team like the Lakers in 2011 was an upset for the Thunder because that team was experienced and seasoned. Beating a team like the 2007 Mavs who had no championship experience, isn't all that impressive.

This Nets team, unlike the other teams, actually has championship experience, so there is 0% chance they get upset by the Wizards. Not happening.

Unless Blake gets hurt like Malone, Harden catches a rape charge like Kobe, and KD mentally quits like Shaq, I see no way any championship team with All-NBA players on it gets upset by a team that has never been there before, and has less talent.

That sounds to me like you are skipping every round except the finals. You have seen 8 beat 1s in your lifetime. Were those not upsets

Russ meeting Kev in the playoffs is what I asked for this Christmas.

Should it happen nothing will come of it, Russ maybe steals one game, but I mean even if the Wizards get swept its going to be fantastic basketball to watch.

Russ will leave it all out on the floor and walk out of there head held high I am certain of it.
