How's your rankings look like?

I'm curious to see where would people put Karl Anthony-Towns, Nikola Vucevic and Clint Capela on their rankings.

For this season only

Jokic
Embiid
Gobert
Adebayo
Capela
Vucevic
Towns (I would have him over Vucevic if he played more games)
Porzingis
Valanciunas
Myles Turner/Ayton

Holmes, Boucher, Kanter and Jarrett Allen are right on the bubble.

If we're talking about who I would want on my team, I'd have Towns #4 behind Gobert, Capela #5 and Vucevic maybe not in the top-10, though it's close either way.

What is a "center" in this modern era? The Nuggets backup "center", as used most often is 6'7". "Center" used to mean "low post" but now we have centers posting themselves beyond the 3pt line.

But yeah, I get it. Here's my list:

Jokic
Adebayo
Towns
Gobert
Embiid - moved down due to injury issues
Davis - moved down due to injury issues
Vucevic
Capela
Adams - not flashy but makes his team better
Ibaka

Close but not there: Ayton & Jarrett Allen & Kanter

I can’t put a guy in there that can’t space the floor. And two of the best centres, iMO, aren't even listed yet, and that’s GIannis and AD. If you cant play small these days, I don’t think you can win it all (unless you have embiid or Jokic and I’m still not sold yet)

1.Nikola Jokic
2. Joel Embiid
3. Gobert
4. Towns
5. Bam
6. Vucevic
7. Nurkic
8. Capela
9. Ayton
10. Sabonnis

People really under rating Nurkic. I know he got hurt, but he has been one of the better centers in the league over the last 4 years or so.

Penalizing Embiid and Davis for missing time is your prerogative but as a Heat fan I'll say that Gobert is levels above Bam this season

1Jokic /AD/Embiid ...Depends on the day

Jokic/Embiid (#1 would depend on who else is on my team)
Gobert
Towns
Adebayo
Capela
Ayton
Valanciunas
Porzingis (would be higher if not for health)
Vucevic (i'm really low on him, just not a winning player.

Anthony Davis would be #2 if you want to count him as a center. Wood, Nurkic and turner are the near misses.

Well, ... I'm a big fan of Gobert and I guess I'll have to agree with you. Adebayo seems to be struggling this year, but I like his overall game better and believe he'll be better in the long run. BUT this thread's OP said "2021", so I'll give myself a "fail" on that one.
