The next 3 games for the Lakers are crucial: @Clips (tied with Denver for 3rd), @Blazers (1 game behind LA to avoid play-ins), and vs Suns(0.5 behind Utah for #1). They can easily lose all 3 with Bron still working his way back from injury and firmly in the play-in tournament.

The warriors and dubs are about as evenly matched as two teams in nba history.

I'd say all three of those teams are evenly matched. It can go either way. lol

Blazers have clearly the tougher schedule so I still think it'll be Blazers/Warriors for the 7th spot. Still crazy that Lakers are where they are now.

Meh. Who cares. It's not like the loser would be eliminated

I don't think it matters. Both will lose to the Suns.

I think that Lakers will rest LeBron and Schroder until the end of the RS.

Once there they will destroy whoever they play in that play-in.

Warriors do not have any chance IMO.

Anthony Davis is in great shape already...they do not care about their seed, they are just getting healthy and ready for the playoffs.

It means playoffs. Or are we going to say this about any series now? Suns will lose eventually as well, so nothing they do matters?

Still think that? Portland has a tougher schedule if you think Denver and phoenix will play hard in the last games if the season. They probably won't if the seeding is decided.

Oh, sure Suns will lose. Just not to these 2 teams and Jazz won't lose to one of them either so I don't think it really matters apart of making to the playoffs which I think both will do.

I think Curry gives you one game so they lose 1-4 to team they play against and Lakers are able to push it to 6 or 7. On head to head I honestly give advantage to Warriors because they have played better as of late and Lakers health is questionable. Plus if there is one player you pick on 1 and done games it is Curry. He is able to give you 60. You either take him out of game with flagrant/hard foul or you are in trouble.

The Nuggets might be interested in having the Lakers at #6, to secure they wouldn't find them until the WCF. Phoenix will definitely be interested in having the Lakers at #6.

No not anymore. Most likely scenario is a GSW/Lakers play-in now.

So, the top 2 seeds' reward is LAL/GSW, kinda sucks, I think they'll prefer GSW but still facing Curry on fire is a huge risk.

"LeBron vs. Curry" lol. LA Superteam vs. Steph and G-League would be more appropriate.

The ideal scenario would be the Lakers losing to the Warriors and then losing to the Spurs and being eliminated

Hate to say it but you are being way too big of a homer and incredibly biased, this version of your Lakers team is far from a superteam with a gimpy LeBron and AD, and no good 3 point shooters. Typical Lakers fan overrating his team and players.

what's your obsession with injuring Curry? I saw in another thread that you were calling for him to be taken out...I guess if you can't beat em - injure them in your eyes. Kind of weak sauce if you ask me.

I think this post was less about the Lakers and more about LeBron.
