He’s not having as good a season as other guys that didn’t miss as much time and are on better teams.

If this thread is more just to say he’s having a nice season and has helped the Knicks win a surprising number of games, sure.

He may get a mention. But not enough games with the Knicks to be in the top 3. I am surprised and also love what he is doing in New York. I knew Rose could still score; but had no idea he could be this consistent and also stay on the floor ( no minor injuries ).

jordan clarkson has been so consistently productive off the bench though. i'm feeling giving rose his flowers, and he will likely continue to make his case in the remaining 8 games. but iono bout this one.

He's got a tale of 2 halves, living off that early season success.

First 32 games: 18.3pts, 3.9reb, 2.1ast, 1stl on 46/38/96 or 59%TS on 14.8FGA in 26.1mpg

Last 29 games: 16.3pts, 4reb, 2.6ast, 0.8stl on 37/30/89 or 48.4%TS on 15.9FGA in 26.5mpg

I don't think he should be considered a lock whatsoever.

IMO, Rose should win it. Yeah he may not have played as many games as Clarkson and others but his impact on the team that is on a great win pace with him playing than not. That should be enough reason for him to win it.

Not only that, he will be the most impactful player in the playoffs off the bench out of any bench players playing in the playoffs. Rose and Randle combo with that great defense and great complimentary players, I think they will give all teams huge trouble and will be hard out.
