Giannis isnt a good shooter, but BRK plays him like he's Ben Simmons. You cant just complete ignore him as a shooter. He'll hit enough to make you pay for that

There's very few (non-C's) players you can just completely ignore as shooters. It's not a great strategy

Isn’t that exactly what’s been proven to beat him in the playoffs? Giannis shooting jumpers is what you want if you’re the defense.

Looked like a blatant travel by Giannis to me, not sure how the refs missed that.

When Miami and Toronto beat him, they met him at the 3pt line, didnt give him wide open shot and funnelled him into a wall of defenders. Giving even 30% 3pt shooters completely wide open looks all game is just not a workable strategy

he wasnt completely ignored. Giannis was slowed only by defences that were build for him. Ibaka leonard gasol , all guarding him together. Miami with butler adebajo and crowder. Brooklyn nets they dont have players to do that.

I think you definitely want to dare him to shoot compared to the alternatives. But I agree, he should have some one within 6 feet of him.
