Can't say he didn't work on that 3ball, even if he did so at the expense of his shooting from anywhere else

Damn, Blazers got a hell of a schedule to finish out the year.

Jazz/Suns/Nuggets

Lakers have Rockets/Pacers/Pelicans

Praying that we get to see a Clippers/Lakers first round series. Would probably be the first round series I'm most excited for since 2015 Spurs/Clippers (first time ever #2/#3 SRS matched up in 1st roudn).

Idk if the Suns will play there starters or the jazz will or even nuggets standings feel pretty set in the top 4

There is only one easy game in Miami's remaining schedule. They have the 76ers, Bucks, and finish with the Pistons on a back to back. I do think the Knicks and Hawks are in the 4/5 seed drivers seat. But with the way this season has gone, I am not counting anything just yet.

It will be a great learning experience for the young Hawks team. Time to see if McMillan can coach them up to close out in great fashion. Its dagger time in the NBA!

Jazz play them tomorrow. That game is consequential - if the Jazz win, the Suns are incentivized to play starters vs. Blazers because with a Suns win vs. Blazers (on b2b for the Blazers, as well), Suns will be 1 game back of #1 seed. They get the #1 seed if they end up tied.

Denver is the only team really *basically* locked in because they can't fall down, and barring the Clippers losing 2 of 3 of following:
Hornets, Rockets(tank) or Thunder (tank)

The Nuggets will finish 4th.

The Clippers have an opportunity to move up to 2
The Suns have an opportunity to move up to 1

The Jazz will play starters to try to secure #1 seed for sure - a loss tomorrow cuts their room for error significantly. Jazz want #1 seed because that means they'll face Spurs or Memphis as opposed to potentially Lakers/Warriors.

If the Jazz win vs the Blazers I imagine the Suns pack it in in the quest for #1. Jazz would need to go 0-2 and Suns 3-0 to close the 2.5 game gap at that point.

Do people seriously not understand speaking in generalities, rounding up, etc? I actually thought they won it in 74 instead of 73, so that would have been 47.

The Suns seem to have hit a wall. Lost 3/4 games, and teams are just doubling Booker and CP3 on every possession, and mucking up their offense.

Also looks like teams are assigning "enforcers" to try to get under Booker's skin, which has worked.

I don't see the Suns season going much further than the 1st round at this point if they dont get it together.

I wouldn't have said anything if you hadn't been such a d*** with the way you asked what 2021-1973 was. But as it was, I couldn't stop myself from indulging in some pedantry.

You do realize that he is not playing his normal position. He is not a point guard. Our main ball handler is injured, our back up ball handler is out on Covid protocol, our third string ball handler just got injured. The guy is 20 years old playing against arguably one of the roughest defenses in the NBA and is playing in an unfamiliar position. Give him a break.

My opinion wasn't based off of the last 3 minutes of last night.

BOLD PREDICTION ALERT: Lakers/Knicks was finals preview. What can I say...I'm an old head that still believes defense wins. And those two squads get into people.

the suns have overachieved and getting into the second round of the playoffs is their realistic goal here, they aren't beating a full strength Nets or Lakers team but could get lucky if the injury bug strikes in the playoffs.

Booker has been shown to have a short temper. I still remember he went at it with Kuzma and they both messed up their game. Obviously Booker meant more for his team.

Suns are also in danger of losing their 2nd seed to the Clippers. All it would take is for them to go 1-2 while the Clippers sweep their easy last 3 opponents.

I think Suns dress everyone against Portland. If they're sitting guys, it'll be on the back to back against the Spurs to end the season.

POR/UTAH is gonna be good.
Both teams motivated for different reasons

Portland wants to win and avoid the play in.
Utah wants to win and would rather the Blazers be in the play in than the Lakers.

Ofc Westbrook chucks a 3 when down one.
Classic example of how box score stats do not necessarily translate to winning basketball.
