Saw a clip of Kurt Thomas from the 90's and was shocked to learn he played 18 seasons in the A.
Nazr Mohammed also 18.

Name me some guys who were never stars but had ridiculous longevity.

I've used this phrase a lot, but it meant something different.

Sam Perkins is my guy for this. He was a memorable player when I was a kid (awkward big guy who drilled 3s) so he always stuck out, and I can recall one day seeing him after his prime and thinking 'how about that, Perk's still around.' And then I literally forgot he was in the NBA for 2 years until he popped up and the announcer would say things like 'another solid 20 pt game for Perkins' as though he was still a super relevant player. And then the same thing happened again 2 years later, and then 2 years later. It was uncanny, like time was frozen but exclusively when this one awkward big dude came around.

Just looked it up and he played until he was 40--and he somehow ended up starting 2/3 of the games in his final season (and for a decent team). He averaged between 11 and 16 ppg for 13 straight seasons, seemed like he was basically as good at age 35 or 37 as he was at age 27. Weird career.
