Hope padding stats is worth Embiid risking his torn meniscus

i'm starting to think the torn meniscus thing was some PR stuff. he probably has a very minor knee issue that they blew up with the word "torn". lol.

Is there even a player in the league the Hawks could trade for that could even help them against Embiid? Maybe throw a big money 2 year team option at Marc Gasol?

It was a good game for 3 quarters. Collins and Capela need to bring more. They averaged 33 points a game in the regular season. 18 points tonight is not getting it done.

Embiid knees may not hold up for the series.
And pretty sad your 30 million dollar a year rookie max all nba point guard can’t be on the floor cause he can’t make free throws.

Yeah it didnt look bad at all. Weve seen guys like Tim Duncan miss an entire playoff with a legit torn meniscus.

In reality they were up 3-0 on Washington and they knew they could beat them without Joel so they just rested him to be safe

The hawks are fine with capela guarding Embiid. But hawks have to hard double team Embiid and yes that includes even trae young throwing his 160 pound body to help out. But really John Collins needs to double down to help out on Embiid. Single coverage is suicide vs Embiid especially when he’s within 5 feet.

Watch the 2019 raptors series. Watch Leonard cheat down to help Gasol when Embiid gets closer. That’s how you defend Embiid.

Or just hope he runs out of gas. Embiid was out of gas end of the 3rd quarter. If shake didn’t get hot. I don’t know if Sixers could hang on with Embiid on the bench.

Was it on the play he fell? I mean that looked more like a tailbone honestly just knee didn’t look compromised. It really might be gamenship. I mean who isn’t going to believe Embiid is hurt?

Because ATL doesn't have Kawhi or even a Marcus Smart. Embiid is much improved vs double teams and teams sending in **** defenders like Trae to double almost always ends in disaster for the defense.

Sixers were way better with simmons on the bench which allowed us to play 5v5 basketball finally

Cant wait to trade him in offseason. Absolute waste of a player

I like this Hawks team and have been high on them all year. Shame I have to root against them

Embiid is hurt is like saying water is wet. This time of the season all players have some aches they have to play through. 76ers brass was probably looking for some sympathy MVP votes at the end of the day ...
