The Oklahoma Kid vs the Cameroonian Colossus. Can't wait for tonight's game.

At this point, I suspect the winner of tonight's game takes the series. Either Philly wins in 5...or Atlanta wins in 6.

I think I pretty much agree with this, though Hunter being out really is a tough break for Atlanta.

I'd say good luck but I don't want to be insincere

I will say that I hope the winner of this series wins it all :)

If Atlanta makes it to Game 7 at Philly against the best team in the East, they're playing with house money.

All the pressure is on Philly at that point.

Trae, Nate McMillan and the Hawks have proven their worth already. Just making it to Game 7 is a huge plus. But Doc and the 76ers are the ones with a history of playoff disappointments they're trying to get past.

I can agree with that. The Hawks have done better than I ever expected so this season is a win regardless. They are the real deal and it is nice to see. You in Atlanta? I was down there for work a lot a couple years ago and I was saddened about the Buzz on the Hawks... I hope the hype is better (I was actually down there over New Years but that was in Woodstock and no one talks Bball there)

I grew up there in the '90s. But I have family in the area and visit often.

The excitement for the team is much higher than it ever was back in the Dominique era, mainly because there is no dynasty or all time great player blocking these Hawks way. The current hype is most comparable to 2015 when Hawks surged to the #1 seed.

But this time, outsiders seem to be more impressed with our squad than in past years. With the Falcons and Braves underwhelming recently, the city appeared is starved for a winner and a rising star.

This team to me is more fun than the 2015 team, which seemed even at the time that it was lighting in a bottle. This team has some legs. They have done a great job building that team, and that's considering they made a move in not drafting Luka. Its crazy it never works out well in that scenario but it has for them.

makes me appreciate the TNT crew and how special those guys really are.

ESPN has a terrible eye for nba tv talent imo.

Atlanta commits more unnecessary reach-in fouls than any team i've watched.

Embiid dribbles, falls down, gets a foul thrown his way. Somehow the refs see Embiid as getting fouled when a lot of times he is just clumsy and out of control. Good start to the game for Bogdan. Hawks need Collins, Capela, and Trae to get going.
