The Celtics were never in the Championship conversation. And its utterly delusional to believe Jaylen Brown and a few more games of Kemba would have taken them over the top. Don't even feel the need to discuss it further because its derailing the thread in any case.

Yes I had the Lakers in the Finals until AD got injured. I still think they beat the Suns if AD wasn't hurt.

Just cause the Celtics weren’t in the championship conversation doesn’t mean it’s a foregone conclusion that they couldn’t have pulled off an upset for a round. There have been teams that pull an upset in the 1st round but go on to lose the next round. It’s really not that uncommon

I have no doubt it would'v been a more competitive series going as far as 6 or 7 games if all players for both teams were healthy. Afterall, the celtics convincingly won a game with all Big 3 of the Nets playing.

Not sure why thats hard to understand.

I'm pretty sure if Kawhi had gotten hurt in 2019 and the Raptors never won it would have sucked a lot more than Pascal Siakim hurting his shoulder this year.

I hope you’ve got that same exact energy when it comes to the AD energy

Yet you said to me ‘didn’t your team get knocked out in the first round’ even though you admit it was because on injuries ….

I think the important thing for everyone to remember is that the Bucks were winning before Kyrie's injury

Teams go on runs. Did you see our run before that?

We would have beaten the .500 Celtics no matter what. I love how you're acting like it would have been a close series with Jaylen Brown. And Kemba objectively made you worse.

You were a 7 seed for a reason. Now youre coming out of the woodwork because our stars are hurt.

Miami was the 6th seed last season. How did that turn out?

Milwaukee is also playing without their starting 2 guard. He is important for their defense. They had to adjust.
Just like Boston in the first round.

You weren't talking about Divincenzo injury before the series.
You weren't talking about Boston's injuries in the 1st round.

We don't care for your excuses.

You're right.

I'm not comparing Donte Divincenzo's and Jaylen Brown's absence to James Harden and Kyrie Irving.

Silly me.

For our system Jaylen Brown is the 2nd star. Kemba is the 3rd.
We know they are not Harden and Kyrie, Sherlock.
But they are equally important gor us.

For Milwaukee Divincenzo is the guy who was supposed to guard Kyrie.
Instead they went big by getting Middleton at 2.

Not every team in the league has the luxury to have as a 4th star, Joe Harris and as a 5th option, Blake Griffin.....poor Brooklyn.
Messi. Jordan. Ali. Bolt. Senna. Serena. Karelin. Phelps. Rossi. Suleymanoglou. The GOATs.

Is Blake hurt too? Didn’t see him since he pushed Giannis while Giannis was up in the air on a layup.

Unfortunately, that's how it's going to be until the majority of people realize injuries take teams out of contention every season in one form or another. Only going to get worse as the frequency of injuries increases.

This entire playoffs has been like a Survivor reality show with these injuries. Nuggets, Lakers, Bucks, Nets, maybe Jazz. Sixers hanging on.

Yeah but the Bucks will always be suspect in games cause of their BBIQ(particularly Giannis). They were doing some dumb things in the 2nd half of both wins that were just head scratching and I think Irving and Durant would've probably made a run in the game. In fact I was actually surprised that Nash never attempted a Hack-a-Giannis strategy because that seems like something that would mentally throw Giannis off and also the Bucks rhythm.

Wow, KD went from being on a superteam to having to carry the Nets role players by himself against the Bucks. Next few games are not going to be pretty for Nets fans if Irving and Harden remain out.

Some teams can handle the physicality.

Some can't.

Have you never pulled a hamstring?

The Nets without their 2nd best player had the upper hand in this series, with two blowouts and one last second loss that could have gone either way.

It’s a totally different scenario, not sure why we’re equating the two.

The 1st wasn't a blowout, the 2nd game was though.

They were giving Giannis 20 seconds to shoot throws, he'd hit em all.

Clippers have been completely healthy and seem to be struggling the most.

Should have been a walk to the Championship for them.

As long as they protect home court they will be ok . I think it’s lue adjusting as the series goes on

Bucks need to continue to be physical and deliver the knockout punch if Iriving and Harden are out next games
