Clippers are down 2-0, now they can start the series.

I don't know why Lue kept zubac in the game in the first quarter with 2 fouls, he quickly picked up his third and then they were forced to go small

In order for the Clippers to win from here, they have to win 3 games in an arena they are 1-3 in or 2 games in an arena the Jazz are 4-1 in.

Is there a more confusing team to watch/analyze than the Clippers?

A few thoughts:

I don't think Mitchell exploding against the Clippers reduces Luka's 1st rounds achievements, but surely makes you question the Clippers defensive strategies.

Clippers work the best when they can play with Batum at the 5 and George/Leonard attack the paint and finish or dish to the perimeter for an open look. With Gobert patrolling the paint this is going to be super tough. On the other end, with Rudy on the floor, the Jazz do need sometimes to play 4-5 on offence, but I think they managed this better in Game 2.

Jazz need Conley back badly to share the playmaking load. Mitchell was gassed at the end of Game 2.

It's Defcon 1. Kawhi, once again, needs to step it up. He has been passive in this series, and needs to be more assertive and probably get on Mitchell's case defensively.

A minor subplot but I don't get why Mann is out of the rotation. Clips have enough shooting and the Jazz will look to punish Kennard every time he's on the court.

Edit: Clips original sin still seems that they never solved their playmaking issues. Rondo looks done. And Beverley never was a facilitator.

Watching Morose Ballmerface is even more fun than Jerry Jones sucking eggs. "Sad Billionaires" is my favorite genre of schadenfreude.

I'm ready for the Jazz to battle the Nets in the Finals, and being a more complete team, winning it all.

there was the time they surrounded mitchell with three guys and left rudy wide open for a dunk. maybe that same secret scouting report concludes rudy is bad at dunking.

Don't sleep on the Clippers, they have 7 souls, but yeah, this Jazz team looks amazing once Conely is back.

As amazing as Clarkson has been, the Jazz needs other bench players to contribute offensively

Well the Jazz have given him the greenlight to shoot, but they haven't given him the greenlight to pass yet.

Niang shot 40% on 4 3PA/game against Memphis. He's had good, wide open looks in this series, but he is only shooting 16.7% on 3 3PA/game. I doubt he he will keep bricking wide open looks for this entire series, but we'll see.

Well both wins did not end up in a blowout, yet the Jazz look like they are clearly a better team western finals between Jazz and Suns would be nice, with both fanbases going loud.

When will Kawhi start receiving a proper criticism? Talk about a man in the right time. One championship was pure team effort, the other one was perfect timing beating injured Warriors. At least Paul George tried in game 2, can't say that about Kawhi.

Sticking with my Jazz in 4 prediction. If the Jazz somehow do lose this series then I hope we at least win game 3 first.
