I hate Giannis' wannabe LeBron game but if Kyrie and Harden are out than the bright side is that CP3 can finally win his ring

I think it's disingenuous to frame it as "Giannis stuck his leg under Kyrie" and that's exactly what you did. The implication in framing it as such is that it's dirty, intentional, or not a basketball play. If you don't mean it as such, maybe just rephrase it as, Kyrie rolled an ankle or Kyrie caught a bad break and got hurt, but you didn't do that.

No, because "Giannis stuck his leg under Kyrie" is exactly what happen. There is no need to rephrase a fact. Whether he did it in the process of trying to grab a rebound or he did it on purpose is irrelevant. Personally it don't think it was dirty or intentional, it was reckless and should have been at minimum the 3rd foul on Giannis, maybe a flagrant. Yes, its a bad break Kyrie is likely out for the play-offs.

Without Harden and Irving the Nets have almost no chance against the Bucks. Bucks win in 6 unless Harden can somehow come back before then.

How was he supposed to get position for the board and box out simultaneously?
It was under the basket. Not on the perimeter.
People cannot be punished for fundamentals.
Rebounding is fundamental.
He wasn't looking at Kyrie or his legs, he was looking at the ball.
How would you fo it differently?

so Durant now has to elevate the floor of a team against a more talented opponent? let's see how well the "KD has been better than Lebron since he joined the Warriors" position holds

I hate seeing players go down with injury and I prey for a speedy recovery for Irving.

As for the series, don’t underestimate Durant or this supporting cast. I have a gut feeling KD and the Nets win game 5. Even without Harden or Kyrie, they STILL have Durant Griffin Harris Green and a bunch of other strong roll players.

KD is still the best player in the series.

76ers vs Bucks. A battle of the superstar bigs may be on the horizon.

I hate the injuries. They are costing almost everyone some critical players...

If Kyrie and Harden are out the Bucks are winning this in 6.

Thoughts on Joe Harris? He seems to be well thought of as a complimentary player but he's a wing who can't defend or rebound (absolute liability) and that generally equals unplayable in the playoffs. and in the area he's elite, he seems to shy away from the contested jumpers players like Robinson and Seth Curry take/make.

Tough break for the Nets, but then again your big three were injured all season so maybe it’s unrealistic to think you’d be healthy in the playoffs. KD playing 42/43 minutes before garbage time isnt ideal. If it really is just a sprain for Irving, maybe he will be back soon. They don’t need him to be great this series to win.

Giannis getting to the free throw line was the take way from this game. That and they actually passed it to the wide open Tucker, unlike in game three where he was ignored in the corner.

Lebron took a team of bums to the 2007 and 2015 finals (no Kyrie for some of playoffs and most of finals and no Love at all)

Harris or even Blake were better than anyone on those teams

Let’s see what KD can do

half the teams payroll will be sitting in street clothes. not sure lebron ever had to beat a "good" team like Milwaukee under those circumstances.
