Or since it is a disrespectful hypothetical you can throw it right back in the face of a disrespectful fanbase.

2020 Bubble Lakers. Truly an Asterick team if I ever saw one. The Glassman Davis didn't have to Travel keeping him healthy. Wheel chair bound old ass LeBron also did not have to travel keeping him healthy

2010 Lakers- Was this team even good? Who was the best player? Bryant? who shot 6-24 in game 7 of the finals? I vote Gasol. He was the MVP of these teams. Bryant was at least the best Wing man on 5 championship teams
2009 Lakers - You think a team with Pau Gasol as the most important player is going to beat the Bucks?

2002 Lakers- They barely beat their contemporaries and wouldn't have if not for blatant fixing. They are not beating a lot of teams in 2021
2001 Lakers- same as 2002
2000 Lakers- Same as 2001 and 2000

PS. I seriously don't think the teams of pre 2010 beat the Bucks. The game has just changed led by the 2013 and 2014 Spurs. The 3 point accuracy and shot making plus defense that is needed to keep up with a team like the Bucks is ridiculous. People are really underappreciating this team. Especially on the defensive side of the ball. Especially if in the hypothetical Donte is Healthy.

2020 Lakers with Lebron at the 4 and Davis at the 5 destroy the Bucks pretty easy. You don't have another player to defend one of those two. And the Lakers were even better team in all the aspects much more deep and tough.

2019 Raptors, I know Kawhi played lights out but Giannis scored 50 in game 6. It would be a good series, probably 7 games but right now nobody is stopping Giannis on Middleton is a legit scoring threat. The Bucks are a very good defensive team also, Booker struggled in two games in a 6 game series. The Raptors bigs would struggle against Milwaukee. The 2019 Marc Gasol would get owned

OG/Kawhi/Siakam/Ibaka/Gasol would exposed Giannis for who he is in the half court and would never let this guy drop 50 in any game period. He shot 52 TS% against us vs 66 TS% against the Suns.

People are getting way too caught up with his performances these finals after dominating a 22 year old inexperienced Ayton and an undersized Crowder. Suns couldn't even draw a single charge against this guy. Just an absolutely pathetic defensive effort from them.

If we're assuming healthy teams, Raps take this in 4 or 5 because we played the 2019 Bucks with a 1-legged Kawhi. Healthy Kawhi would be running circles around this Bucks team

Unquestionably. It's not even close. The Bucks have 0 depth, they played PJ Tucker for 30+ mins a night while he's giving 0 offence. Every Raps player who got minutes was a legit 3 n D, 0 holes in their players.

The only way Bucks win is if Giannis serevely outplays Kawhi, which is extremely unlikely given 2021 Giannis is at best as good as Kawhi. Kawhi is a much, much better halfcourt scorer.

2019 Raps would likely lose against multiple superstar teams, but they're beating every single 1 or less superstar team in nba history.

Do you remember how unimpressive that Heat team actually was?

In the NBA Finals, Shaq was outscored by Antoine Walker and neither of them were very effective. Shaq was basically a decoy so that Wade could weave his magic. That version of Shaq is doing little to limit Giannis offensively and certainly wouldn't be getting anyone in trouble defensively. He might not even be a viable player given his limited movement and free throw shooting by that point.

That Heat team are among the least impressive Champions this century.

I went to about 10 games that playoffs. I remember them well! It was not the Heat that choose to make Shaq a decoy. The Mavs went all out to stop Shaq from beating them and Wade took advantage. Bucks would be more than welcome to single cover Shaq…

The Bucks would destroy them in transition. Also, their team was designed to protect the rim. Zo, Shaq, and Haslem would be run and shot off the floor.

Jrue would be the perfect defender against Wade. MIL is also essentially league best defending the paint and not fouling. They would be a terrible matchup for that MIA team.

If Haslem didn’t get “run and shot” off the floor by Dirk, I wouldn’t expect him to be by lesser players.

As for Jrue being the “perfect” Wade defender…come on. Reminds me of Mike Wilbon saying Rip Hamilton was the “Wade stopper”. Jrue is 3-22 all time vs Wade and two of those wins was when Wade was damn near 37 years old

From the options I don't think the Bucks beat any of those teams. I do think they'd give the 2020 Lakers a run for their money though so it's interesting they're not on this poll.

this is just coastal media bull.
Over the last 10 seasons, there have been two dominant teams, and they were both Golden State Warriors. Unless winning the championship is a NOT a requirement to be called dominant, in which case you can add one more Golden State team and two Milwaukee Bucks teams.
the ignorance or haterade is palpable.

-The Bucks shoot way more 3's than that DAL team. DAL didn't even shoot 20/game in the Finals.

-According to your own stats, Jrue held Wade to a 23.5 avg. If Wade averages 23.5 in this series, it is 4 straight Bucks blowouts.

This question is framed so disrespectful it went from what could have been an interesting thought exercise to a dishonest agenda battle. Why not "where do the 21 Bucks rank?"

A physically and mentally stronger ‘21 Bucks team may not have blown a 2-0 lead to the Raps like they did in 2019.

Im curious on why that Heat. They have Wade and a pretty dominant Shaq.

Shaq was no longer that player in ‘06.

The Raptors is an easy comparison, because the bucks actually played them.

Bucks were up 2-0 and an overtime away from 3-0.

I'm sure 2021 version of Giannis would of found some counters to the raptors defense, his clearly not the same player as he was back then.

They still had Bledsoe on the team back then. As long as Bud is able to make some adjustments as he did these playoffs, it would be a different story.

You're actually witnessing in real time the way hollow sports analysis corrupts discussion of players past and present. Make no mistake, in 15 years when Giannis is a retired HOF, people will talk about this team in a way that you would no longer recognize. Either it'll be mythologized because he went on to win more championships, or it'll be marginalized because he never could crack the title again. But it's not about the basketball, it never really is, it's about the narratives.
