NBA finals ratings are up from last year by 32%. Not a surprise since ratings were so down due to the pandemic last year. Rating for the playoffs as a whole seem to be good as well. Kinda making this post because it only seems like people talk about NBA ratings when it fits the narrative of doom and gloom of the NBA, proof that it is a crappy product or some other ridiculous idea. I wish at some point people understand that the NBA is doing well and will continue to do well going into the future.

Hmm the early rounds of the playoffs appeared to be up by 63%. I wonder why it dropped off from that...

Do you happen to know the ratio of finals audience to playoff audience this year versus previous years?

Last year the ratings were suppose to be higher DUE to the pandemic as everyone was home under quarantine. So 32% ain't that great.

I'll say it again the NBA starts their games too late. They used to play Finals games that fell on a Sunday at 3:30, now they are all at 8 or 9 at night. They cater to the west coast who really don't care about the game's.
