Kings PG situation

Anyone know what the plan is here?
Kings have Fox, Haliburton, and now Davion who looks ready to play all vying for time at PG. I expect they'll go small a lot and one (or more) of them will play off ball.
Long-term they're too small and there probably aren't enough mins to keep everyone happy which is something Kings just went through with Bogi. Oh and they still have Buddy whom they picked over him.
Which PGs should Sac keep? Who can they get in trade? Which opposing team would make a good trading partner?

I think it's fine as a 3 guard rotation, but once you throw Hield in there, it becomes a problem. And all 3 of those guys project to be starters anyways, so even if it works now, it's not a long term thing. Im a fan of BPA in general, but it's just always a lot easier to stomach when the BPA (if thats how they rate Mitchell) is a versatile big wing/combo guard and not a full time C or PG (like Mitchell is).

Nate Robinson played SG, so I'm pretty sure that Davion can as well.

Seems like they're creating some mess potential but also just keeping options open and not passing on talent they like. They might move Fox but have already seen that he can play well with Haliburton, and with Mitchell around they don't necessarily need to bring back a replacement for Fox in a trade.
One thing I do like is them not pretending that a #9 pick in a top-heavy draft is definitely going to be your starter of the future. No one knows how good Mitchell will be day one or 3 years from now, his range is pretty wide and they can give him some minutes for now and let him prove that he needs more than that. Playing the odds alone, he won't anytime soon.

If Halburton passes Fox and becomes the main man there there the next couple of seasons, I don’t think Fox will be an ideal running mate.

I keep all 3 and move Hield. Fox and Haliburton can both start and offer different styles/strengths. Mitchell is unproven, but starting off in a Marcus Smart role off the bench doesn't seem unreasonable [I don't know much about Mitchell].

Halliburton is kinda the ideal running mate next to anybody. Does everything well, can play sg or pg.
Am I wrong on him? Going off the little I’ve watched and heard.
The fox/davion thing is the problem. I get the whole bpa thing, but when your 2 best players will get in the way of his playing time…draft the next bpa unless he’s a world class talent (maybe davion is and I’m an idiot)

Sure, but if Halburton becomes the star, the stud, the alpha will Fox be able to play off ball next to him? Or would a better shooter/defender be a better fit? Just spitballing.

That’s not really Haliburtons game, he’s more high IQ 3&D combo guard w elite passing.

That’s who he is a rookie, but his potential is all-star or even all-league. And that guy will have a higher usage rate, have the ball In his hands in the half court and be running the PnR. Same as every other star player in the league. He would be a Murray/Mitchell/ Booker/SGA type. And his high IQ, shooting and passing is exactly why he has this potential, it’s not going to make him a permanent 3 and D

I dont see the issue here. Haliburton will start at the 2 and the rook will backup Fox.

They had one in 2018. Their plan was to actively avoid a certain guard just so they can then draft two in a row. Takes very special people with a very special plan to succeed at that.

Where's the option to keep everyone and draft a PG in the lottery next season?

Since the jury is still out on current management, Geoff Petrie.

they should keep all 3 figure out later. 96 minutes for all 3 plenty.

he is not a high usage/ elite free throw guy. I like him 3 and D kawhi before scoring 20 ppg.
