Too small of a backcourt. Sexton would have been a nice fit in New Orleans if they hasn’t already pursued Devonte Graham. I don’t know why the Cavs didn’t try to move Nance during the draft, I think they could have gotten more value for him prior to free agency.

If Sexton played for the Pels, Zion and Ingram would never see the ball. He’s a ridiculous ballhog with a poor bball IQ. He’s not the answer iMO.
Seaton is going to have the same problem anywhere he plays, and it’s the reason the Cavs couldn’t find a trade partner before the draft. He can’t play PG on offense and he’s an awful defender who can’t play SG on defense in a small backcourt. So his overall value doesn’t come close to matching his scoring ability.

Lots of juicy and unexpected rumors. Most the time I see the rumor pages are just filled with what the average person might guess could happen. These are new and exciting. Thanks for sharing. The Tobias Harris interest from Cleveland strikes me as interesting. I'm guessing it comes as part of a Love dump. Fun to string those last two words together to be honest.

Grizzles would be crazy to trade Brooks unless their getting and all star caliber talent back in return. He's a 25 year old SG/SF who's going to be able to get you 20PPG per night and seem to me at least to be kind of the heart, soul and leader of the team.I would love if my Wolves could find away to nab him in the deal with Beverly.

Such a bad take. I hope opposing GM's do feel this way and the Cavs can resign him on the cheap. Change out Sexton for Donovam Mitchell and I doubt the Jazz would lose a beat tbh.

I don't mind Sexton and think he's a bit underrated around here, but the Jazz are far worse off with Sexton instead of Mitchell.

He’s a terrible distributor and a terrible defender, which anyone not wearing rose coloured glasses already knows, and them you come in here calling that a bad take and counter with he’s as good as Donavan Mitchell. Hilarious.
The irony od your post is off the charts.

He's improved his assist rate every single season not to mention is one of the most efficient scorers in the league. Why not actually watch a few games before you start spewing your hate loser behind a keyboard. Makin up crazy scenarios like he would freeze out Zion..real fantasyland stuff right there.

That’s because you’re looking at him as a point guard while I’m looking at him as a scoring guard. Zion averages 4 assist, Ingram averages 5 assists and Sexton averages 4 assists. You put the ball in the hands of Zion and let him create, Sexton becomes the 3rd scoring option that can create for himself and others. It’s a very simple concept, if you don’t have a team with two top 10 talents like Lebron and AD, then you need at least 3 high level creators. Fill out the rest of the roster with 3 and D guys and you’re in a good place. Sexton is also efficient despite being the focus of defence night in and night out.

no, that's the problem with Sexton, he's a bad fit next to almost all PGs because he's an undersized SG that doesn't really play defense, these guys are just much better coming off the bench as microwave scorers than part of any starting back court duo.
