Interesting, seems like it's pretty much consensus that the Pistons cast is as good as ORL or HOU, who have been consistently ranked as bottom-5 teams this year.

Yeah, but I think Cade needs good teammates around him to really fulfill his potential. I think if he has to do everything himself and force shots, he's going to struggle. He's still top 5 in any case.

I don't think he will be a top 3 rookie but watch out for Nah'shon Hyland of the Denver Nuggets. I'm surprised there's no mention of him. Dude's been killing it..in summer league and now in preseason. And with Murray out with injury, he'll play valuable minutes right away. I see him having a Jamal Crawford, Lou Williams type of career. He's a bucket and can get any shot he likes but unlike those 2 guys he gets after it on defense as well. I think he'll be a top 10 player in this loaded draft

The lack of mentions thus far makes me assume this is as stacked of a draft class as they said it would be. He has been great so far and his teammates seem to absolutely love the energy he brings. I think your post was spot on, probably won't win ROY, but definitely looks like he is going to have a good year.

I'm excited to see all the young talent.

Love this kids potential. Today he showed why people think so highly of him as a prospect. He'll continue to be streaky on offense, but the defense is ready even though he's rail thin.

a lot of teams are going to regret passing him up. mobley is lamelo and green is edwards of this draft.

future first all nba mobley, 3rd barnes, with all stars in cade and green. not too bad i thought this draft was a bust.

Only two teams passed on him. Detriot and Houston.

Denver doing a great job contending/developing due to being one of the very few teams that can consistently hit on late draft picks.

If Mobley plays this strong, and hey also add Lauri Markkanen, what does that mean for Jarrett Allens Playingtime?

Top 5 shaping how i thought it would be. Green an elite scorer, Mobley a straight up 2 way monster, Barnes a do it all high impact beast and Suggs a relatively skill-less guard. I think Cade will be good but i see him being worse than the other 3 guys in the top 4

I wish Cade got to play, but hopefully it's worth the wait. I'm still waiting on Suggs "breakout" game because I was a fan. All of the top picks and even late lotto have had great games minus him. He'll be great defender though, that much is evident.

Evan Mobley is the most talented American big man to come along since Anthony Davis. I hope he will suit up for Team USA because the talent level there is severely lacking right now.

I think the same goes for Suggs and Barnes as well. they are supposedly the best playmakers in this draft, at least of the top 5 picks.

Barnes averaging 10ppg-5rpg-6apg so far
Suggs averaging 5ppg-4rpg-3apg so far

I would say the Raptors players around Barnes are better with their roles than the players Suggs is playing with in Orlando - which may explain Suggs' poor offensive showing so far. (and his handles aren't great yet - work in progress)

Hey, technically, every team could've traded up to 1 to grab him. So ... technically, a lot of teams did pass on him. :)

I would bet a lot of money that Boston isn’t better than then Cunningham or Mobley along with a few others.

I’m sure you like him as a sleeper and a good 2nd round pick, but he’s very flawed at this point.

Mobley and Barnes go #1 and #2 in a redraft. Both are legit game changers on the defensive end, with underrated offensive games. It's crazy how these two where so underappreciated by so many on this board.

Both are lengthy athletes with a natural feel for the game. It was obvious these two had the highest upside.

Cade Hasn't even played yet and can also play both sides of the ball, slow down.

Mobley was always one of my favorites but Scottie is looking much better than I thought he would.

I always had Cade and Mobley at the top though
