Which team has the bigger problem right now?

Ben Simmons is still hell bent on being moved. Kyrie Irving is banned until he gets vaccinated.

The nets can probably win a title with Irving on the bench. So I’d say Sixers have a bigger problem.

If they don't win it all this year, Nets. They're going to enter another Bully king period of not having control of their 1sts for years.

Nets may not be the runaway favourite without Kyrie like they are now but they would be among the top 2-3 teams even with out Kyrie. Sixers have no chance if Simmons sits out or they get nothing in return for him.

I think Kyrie will eventually get the vaccine, unclear if the sixers will get a good trade for Simmons.

The Nets. It is way easier for the Sixers to trade Simmons because he has 4 years left on his deal. The team trading for him has under control whereas with Kyrie he can walk after this season.

Nets. Dude is mental. I mean, so is Simmons, but it only extends as far as his game. Kyrie is mental all around.

Nets by far. Kyrie won't get vaccinated and would retire if traded. And yes, he's nutty enough to do both things. Nets don't win and Harden is walking as a free agent. ironically if Kyrie would accept a trade then a Ben for Kyrie trade is the best outcome at this point for both the Sixers and Nets.

Kyrie has no value to anyone bar the Nets atm & that could easily turn negative if he dives off the deep end onto the flat earth

Simmons has trade value & l don’t think that he’s the type to go nuclear in the dressing room or on the court but time might prove me wrong on that

I mean if the Nets just cut Irving tomorrow they're still the favorites for the title.

So I'd say the Nets. The 76ers need someone to get interested in Simmons and trade for a star scoring PG to give Embiid the compliment needed to be a contender.

Kyrie will get the vaccine and the nets will focus on the title. He will have his bickerings with the media all season but it really wont bother durant or harden lol. They dont care, at this point its all about leaving it on the floor when it counts.

Philly is in limbo until simmons is traded. They are trying to compete. Imo their situation will affect whats on the floor more than the nets.

Probably this, for the short-term.

Irving situation is far worse, Sixers situation is far worse. Not a one to one thing.

Simmons / 76ers. Their 2nd best player who at one point had the kind of value that could be the center piece of a trade for a superstar (Harden, Lillard, etc) and be a potential star in the NBA has shown he has zero desire to play/grow there, doesn't play well with the #1 player, and has suppressed his value to the point they can't find an adequate tase for him.

Kyrie will either get the vaccine and all will be forgotten OR by time playoffs roll around, May 2022, the mandates will be lifted and life will be ever closer to back to normal and then Kyrie can play without the vaccine. Unless things get drastically worse covid wise, this will blow over. Even then, the Nets are built would still easily end win the east. IMO, people are making way too big an issue out of this.

both. they are all in position cant afford to lose championships. not winning a single would be massive failures.

Kyrie isn't even a necessary player for Nets to win the championship, let alone make the playoffs....

Worse situation?

I mean, what do KD and Harden need to win a title? Basically every team in the league has a worse situation than the Nets.
