I think Collin Sexton is a backup and an assh--e. None of his teammates like him. I like Garland. I actually like Garland. I think he plays hard. He puts pressure on you because he can shoot, he can pass, and he's a much more willing passer. He's not out there trying to f--king get his stats and go home in the same way that Sexton is. I don't think they can play those two small guards together and get a ton out of them.

If you're gonna say something like this maybe have the stones to put your name to it. Just pathetic, IMO.

Scout isn't wrong... When JAFRO has to put you in your damn place and he's barely been on the squad you know you've done wrong. Watch Sexton for a few minutes and it's impossible to come away not thinking this is a dude who plays for stats first and his team second...

I am at UA, I know several people who know Collin personally, all of them rave about how nice he is, and none of them have any stake/incentive for doing so.

No surprise - another vengeful smear campaign here. Im a big Sexton fan.

By all accounts Sexton is a good guy, but he's on a rookie deal, he's a very capable scorer, and he's looking to get paid.

I don't buy that his teammates hate him. I can buy that some of his teammates are frustrated because he's a score first guy.

i think that was a poor choice of words based on how scouts talk about players privately in general. I think he meant in the sense that the stupidity sexton does drives teammates mad sometimes..... its not like this is some unfair criticism of him. as for him saying it anonymously, go see what larry nance thinks about kevin loves defense anonymously, probably a good chunk of the things that come in reports from the media come from players themselves.

hes a 100mil expensive 6th man but worth it because he can lit up 25ppg in 30 minutes ala jordan clarkson role.

why would anyone like him? you think lauri, and all the billion bigs like sexton do his thing and chuck up 20 shots?
i bet most of the cavs think of him as a competitor who takes away usage. hes not a bad evil guy off the court but much like lavine hes brain is unfixable.

The mainstream media has been gone for like 10 years now. In some countries, even more.

I feel like he could do really well on a team whose main playmakers are in the frontcourt.

Like if RJ's playmaking flashes develop as well as we (knicks fans) hope and Randle's passing ability starts matching his vision, I'd be pretty psyched to give Sexton 100M to replace Kemba...even if Thibs wasn't able to "get through to him" and convince him to tweak the way he plays so he can create more for his team-mates as he continues to develop/mature.

My hang-up would be giving Cleveland significant assets & then devoting so much of my cap space on a player with Sexton's limitations...but the money itself is reasonable.
