Wouldn't surprise me to see the Nets win. Bucks had a very short off-season (Nets had an extra month) plus 2 players were in the Olympics after the Finals. Rotation is thin for now with injuries. Bucks have a Chip, Nets have a Chip (on their shoulders). It's all about April not October and both teams are contenders. I'm looking forward to being there tonight, I've never attended a ring/banner ceremony but as a basketball fan I'm looking forward to seeing Durant and Harden, 2 great players.

We haven’t won an opening night game since 2016, and I see that trend continuing tonight. I think it'll about about 20ish games to get a get a good pulse on this team.

I just see such a vivid picture of LA losing big and the media outlets freaking out about it. It really can't go any other way

No need to play 20 games to get a good pulse.

Ill give you the pulse right now. The Lakers are old and injury prone, westbrook is a bad fit, and they lack depth.

The "brilliance" of LeBron will carry them to a decent seeding, but they wont look good all year.

On the flip side the Nets defense takes a while to round into shape and rarely goes full tilt from the get-go making them susceptible to big deficits early in games... Couple that with the Bucks having extra motivation to try and prove that last year's results weren't largely influenced by injuries and they have a decent shot of winning this game.

Lakers lose by 15. Media frenzy mixed of people like Shannon Sharpe downplaying everything, while the opposite type acts like Lakers will miss the playoffs. Curry drops 40+

Ariza, THT and Ellington are all out, so its either play bigger for now or give minutes to Rondo/Reaves.

Bucks should be unstoppable this year. They won the title last year with their backup shooting guard. I would put my money on them defending the title.
