This kid got SWAGGER. A different breed. He was definitely worthy of that number 1 pick.

Ant is what Minny hoped too find whenn they drafted Wiggins. Glad to see it..

Love his mindset and personality. He’s a beast for sure. He gives it his all and doesn’t pull punches.

I like Edwards. He has a lot of confidence but also appreciates greatness, as evidenced by how he talks about facing guys like Curry and Bron.
That said, the Rockets are probably gonna be an all time bad team this season with that roster. So good performances against them should be the norm. Still nice to see Edwards shooting that well and I hope he can keep it up. Guys were doubting his work ethic and mindset, but that doesnt seem to be an issue so far.

I'm a big believer of him. He has the talent to be an elite 2 way star and clearly has the swag and charisma to go with it.

He's a very likable kid, he's not the type of guy that creates drama or do a stupid stuffs off the court. I'm rooting for him and wish him all the best.

He's already a star in my view. His stats in second half of the season were like Mitchell's.

He's way ahead of schedule for his archetype.

I can see him developing into a Bradley Beal type. The Wolves have something to be excited about. They just have to make sure KAT and Russell are capable of being star players on a good team.

Well, KAT has never once took the Wolves to the playoffs. Never even sniffed it. Jimmy Butler was there for literately 1 season and they were a playoff team. KAT is better than Russ, but grouping the two together isn't outrageous. Anthony Edwards is the future of this team, not Towns. And Wolves fans better hope he impacts the game and doesn't just get empty stats ala Kevin Love/Towns.

So you're saying Jimmy Butler would've taken the Wolves to the playoffs without Towns? And if the Wolves get to the playoffs this season it'll be cause of Edwards? I think you're underrating Towns quite a bit.

He's not under rating Towns.In the five seasons he's been the lead dog abd clear cut star player on the team we average 27.5 per season.He's and empty stats guy just like Kevin Love.Doesn't mean he's a terrible player but clearly isn't the superstar he's made put to be and can't be a number one guy of your franchise.

He's a 2nd or 3rd best player on a title contending or winning team.Edwards is clearly the franchise player and hopefully that star for the Wolves now.

That's true today. We're only starting year two, and Ant's rate of improvement from month to month is astounding. If he keeps improving at this rate, he will overtake Ball by end of the year.

Ant's athleticism is what gives him a higher ceiling than LaMelo IMO.

I'm not sure how you quantify "clearly the franchise player", because Towns didn't really have any help before Butler or Edwards, but at least Butler and Edwards had Towns coming in. I don't think either would have the spacing necessary if Towns wasn't there so their games might look different.

Edwards is clearly the shiny new toy just as Towns was. Could Edwards do a better job carrying the team with what Towns was working with? Who knows. As of right now, Towns is the better player but obviously Edwards is the more exciting one.

Like Ant and think he’s great and fun to watch, but the Rockets defense is powerfully bad. Let him take his laurels when he hangs like 30/8 against a real defense in a week or two.
