Hawks are 17-24. What's happening?

They had a tough West Coast trip but they lost their last 6, 8 of their last 9. This is a team that made it to the ECF last year. Early to judge and things will only get better because of easier schedule or serious problems down there?

Should had cashed out last season but injuries slowed them down and couldn’t make the finals now you have other teams playing better than expected.. they should still make the playoffs tho

Unfortunate losing streak early in the season. I'd give it as much salt as the Bucks not making the playoffs.

Still early. But I believe they need to consolidate some of their assets for a bigger/better player. They have more than enough to get a star should one become disgruntled.

well collins overrated and that is their core for the next decade. new treadmill team 4 all star version is better.
theirs a chance they dont even make playoffs should not take it for granted.

The east is tougher this season; but I think they have to much talent to not be a 4 - 6 seed. Things will be fine by December. In fact, despite the losses, the offense has been solid the past three games. That is with Hunter and Bogdanovic sitting out last nights game.

Maybe they are not as good as expected and last season they overachieved. A bit like the Suns.

They’re not a contender and they’re losing games facing better players, period.

The comments that he made before facing Curry were insane, and they paid for it.

Despite the ownership drama amd a shaky start to the season, Suns seem to be doing fine to me.

now i understand why they suck for the future. they were supposed to suck few more yrs during tanking stage but trae thought he was as good as luka to demand a championship level team and people foolishly believed they were that good after ecf run.
this horrible result happened due to trae. this is why you never allow players to do whatever they say.

Things are taking a turn for the better. In his five games for November, all losses, Trae is averaging:
25.4/4.4/9.0 with a TS% of .546.

His TS% for Octobers 6 games was .514. He will be fine by December. Then the haters will be left with bashing his hair...

The Mavs are not good either so Luka is not doing much better.

KAT would work real well with Trae, with Capela covering for his lack of defense. Probably a package centered around picks/Reddish/Huerter/Gallo?

8 road games out of 12 to start the season. Literally have played 8 straight playoff (or play-in) teams from a year-ago.

Not a promising start but anyone drawing conclusions this early in the season can't really be taken seriously imo. Do the people who think a 4-8 record means a team is exposed and might not even make the play-offs also view the Cavs as serious contenders?
