Raise the banner ATL!

Jokes aside that second half from Trae was magnificent as much as I hate his face and personality.

They need to take a hard, critical look at their roster. They're built at SG/SF/PF like a team that has Gobert at C and Marcus Smart at PG where they need to hoard offense on the wings. Capela is a good defensive 5 but he ain't THAT good and Young is trash defensively. They're just built horribly. They need to be the most active team in the NBA this offseason. They have good, talented players so it's doable. But they need to be trying all sorts of 1 for 1 trades to get better fits.

I am not going anywhere. I am proud of the way this team was 17-25 with a ton of injuries and the most lost games due to covid of any team in the NBA. They went on a tear after a 17-25 start. They finished several games over .500, would have been the fifth seed in the West, and beat two good teams in Charlotte and Cleveland to make the playoffs. Unfortunately for us we missed Capela for almost the entire series, Collins came back after being hurt for three months and was a shadow of himself, Bogi missed the last game due to injury and Trae was never the same after Lowry intentionally dove into his knee in a deliberate attempt to injure Trae.

Along the way this season Trae Young became the best guard in the NBA and made NBA history by being only the second player ever to lead the league in total points and assists in the same season. He also made basketball history by being the ONLY player in the history of basketball to lead the NCAA and NBA in total points and total assists in the same season.

There is nothing for myself or any Hawks fan to feel bad about it. Injuries and covid can't be helped by anyone. This team is on the rise and will be here for next season.

Hey guys, I just checked the series stats, Trae really played horribly offensively but players like him aren't exactly known for their offense. It's defense is where he shines and he did a pretty nice job locking down Heat players

Run this team back next season and it's a title at a minimum
