He tore his meniscus. It’s one injury.

Menisci don’t heal well, they often just remove the bit that is detached or semidetached. Having gone the alternate surgical route in a 19 year old top prospect in the long term interests of his knee joint you don’t blow the chance of the surgery working/the meniscus healing by bringing him back early.

I’m really looking forward to seeing how he looks when he’s back. Certainly wasn’t impressive as a rookie, but I think he can be solid

He should take his time anyway. He can’t guard joker ad or ayton yet, so there’s really not really a determining factor in their title odds this year. Him kuminga and moody get to undergo the best internship in America

He always had an uphill battle to be a great player. All projection.

Torn meniscus. The same injury that JJJ had last year that caused him to miss almost the entire season.

Wiseman is actually on track to come back faster.

Well he hasn’t played basketball since then, so he’s not going to be better for months at the very least. I’m just hoping he comes in strong to close the season and gives them a wild card.

Would make total sense to play someone 40 minutes coming off of a knee injury, especially in this era, which doesn't require big men to defend across the entire court or spend lots of time moving laterally.
