The Cavs are 6-1 without Kevin Love

Post#1 » by HypeMode » Mon Nov 15, 2021 9:19 pm

Ever since Kevin Love went down to an injury, the Cavs have been on fire. Reeling off 6 wins in their last 7 games. The Cavs were winning 19 games a year over the past few years with Kevin Love since LeBron left. Can we finally admit that Kevin Love is not and never was a star player? Stop calling him a superstar or a superteammate. His career is a career full of losses.

If they could pawn off Love and Sexton to some team that still believed in them, for a quality rotation player, man. They’re already on the right track. Cant believe its happening this fast.

They really should just waive Love. He does nothing for them and no one is trading for that contract… even once it’s expiring it’s unlikely anyone will give up anything of substance for him,

Because the current version of Love, is exactly like the version that first got to Cleveland?

Garland, Rubio and Mobley are good players. As long as those 3 are healthy and available, the Cavs will compete in every game. It helps that some teams are underestimating them too.

Sacramento should trade for Love and then not play him to see if having Love and not having him play is a viable strategy to winning

He's not injured. He's out due to a positive Covid test along with Lauri. There's absolutely no way that Allen and Mobley can sustain their current minutes. The Cavs will be well served by getting both guys back.

Jarret Allen isn’t winning you anything. Garland won’t show up in the playoffs. Mobley is a glorified dunk man. Mitchell has some experience but is a liability on defense. To me, the Cavs are a treadmill team.

Cavs were also playing well before Love got pulled due to the health protocol. They are 6-1 without Markkanen too. Mobley makes that much of a difference. Love was contributing off the bench esp with his chemistry with Rubio and they do miss him. No they are not trading assets to get off his contract either. There's no reason to do so.

As long as he's not disgrunted with the diminished playing time and hurts their chemistry, waiving him doesn't accomplish anything.
His expiring contract might be useful eventually 3qor not, you never know.

when he left minnie IN HIS PRIME, the wolves dropped from 40wins to 16wins and they STAYED really bad with kat and wiggins until they picked up thibs, gibson, butler, teague, crawford, and rose with 47wins

you couldn't wait until love is way past his prime, could you...... lmao

Life is good when you draft a franchise player. They should also move off of Lauri. A little housecleaning but a great young core + Rubio.

Get a malcontent like Bagley or Simmons.

Cash in on the rewards.

I’ll be happy to be done with Love when his albatross contract is up. He’s been horrible for the past two years. He may end up being horrible upon return.

That said, he was not the reason they were losing those first few games. He played ok and seemed in good spirits, unlike the last two years.

Everything was new about running out 3 seven footers, and our best player was playing his first games. It takes a minute.

I assume he will be a buyout candidate if we fall out of playoff contention. If we are still doing well, then he’s likely contributing.

They could actually use Love tonight because Allen is now listed out the cavs have no bodies.

Mobley is the perfect big to build around. Also the theory of having a high end back up pg is vital to winning in this league, any league really

Would be surprised to see them move Lauri so fast after acquiring him in FA.

Depends if they want to give up some picks or **** their cap for another year and keep waiting. Pretty sure they tie picks to him instead.
