Talking Stick Resort Arena from a few years back wasn’t this bad.

To be clear though, it's not owned by the Lakers org, and "Largest Naming Rights deal in history" has a nice ring to it... Even if the name sucks balls.

Yes, Amazon did buy the rights & named it Climate Pledge Arena. But got to admit that crypto.com as a name is pretty high on the list.

Crypto.com is the name of the crypto exchange. There would be no point in paying 700+ million for just Crypto Arena which would be too generic.

Crypto Arena could mean anything to anybody. The .com signifies why the sponsorship of the arena would be worth so much. It's paid advertising.
