also who is to say bulls would have picked franz...i dont think they would have,,also pick order could have changed

Agree. Not only that, would they have tried to sign DDR, Ball , Caruso and etc AND more importantly, would they have signed with the bulls without the thought of competing with Vuc/Lav and the the others?

very easy to put up counting stats when you get starter minutes on bad teams. These type of players are fantasy basketball gold.

Most rookies are on bad teams. I mean you will get the MCW's of the world that don't amount to much but Wagner seems like the real deal.

Wagner was my #1 target for the Hornets, then he rose up draft boards late. He is a Hayward clone IMO if he continues on this trajectory/works hard

I thought the Magic vs Warriors game showed exactly why Franz probably should have been the Warriors target at 7.... until Kuminga dropped and they correctly took him. Two of my favorites so far from this draft.

Franz showed his all-around game, clearly one of the better players on the Magic already.

But Kuminga in less minutes I thought showed why he has the higher upside and was the correct pick for the Warriors. I think he ends up being one of the best players from this draft, even though he won't get the minutes this year to showcase it just yet.

JT Thor with some great defense and more thunderous dunks. Dude is very long. Hornets found yet another 2nd round gem.

He's also doing it in the flow of the offense. On kind eh efficiency, but virtually every rookie that isn't a center struggles with efficiency. Wagner has a bright future, far from empty counting stats.

Anyone who doesn't have Mobley as the ROY at this point is either willfully ignorant or a casual with no understanding of basketball.

Cade tried to put the team on his back in OT this game, 8 points in the last 2 mins.
4 tough takes into the paint in a row, after struggling against the length of Gafford earlier in the game

That was a good sequence by Giddey. But Barnes outplayed him all night. Straight up bullied him on multiple occasions in the paint.
Giddey is a great prospect but he is waaaaaaay too careless with the ball. Hence, the 5 turnovers.

Barnes with 18 points, 8 rebounds, 5 assists, 2 blocks, 1 steal.

Made 2 threes tonight, should've had at least 3 more assists if his teammates didn't miss wide open 3s.

Another great game by him.
