The players getting the bulls-eyes pinned on them were primarily for their early season struggles were Lillard, Luka, Harden and Trae. Here are these four players numbers in the past 2 weeks of games (6 games each):
Lillard: 26/4/7 on 47/43/94 (5.5 FTA, Career Average 6.1). Blazers 5-1
Luka: 27/9/9 on 45/39/69 (6.0 FTA, Career Average 7.5). Mavs 5-1 (lost all 3 games he missed in this stretch)
Harden: 26/7/10 on 44/33/91 (11.2 FTA, Career Average 8.7). Nets 5-1
Trae: 27/4/9 on 47/45/93 (6.7 FTA, Career Average 7.3 FTA). Hawks 5-1
Turns out the killers are going nowhere, and the hot takes were likely just that.

If the point was to criticize guys using stats for 5-6 games wouldn't using another 6 game two week sample size be playing the same game as those posters?

I hope you dont mean the Lakers by that lol. No way in hell they are contenders. Closer to the lottery by a wide margin.

Everything? We gave up KCP and Kuzma who are absolute trash and Montrezl who the Lakers were refusing to play anyway. Westbrook has been a nightmare but we didn't exactly give up anything of value to get him.
