Eh I've done better.

Really not that great. Good charge.

Could it be they called an offensive foul due to the hand to the face?

Yeah, hes the only player that talks trash in the NBA haha. His play is talking plenty, one of the best scorers to come in the league in recent memory. When he adds a few things to his game he will be dropping 30 a night. The amount of hate, mostly by people who never watch twolves games, thrown at this Kid on this board, is so dumb. Maybe they should trade him for the more efficient SGA lol!

Edwards is already off the floor before the defender is in legal guarding position.

It's a bam bam sort of play, but that's a blocking foul on every level of basketball.

I gave you and1 because i assume you want to show that it's a defensive foul despite being a Heat fan? Even without context, does Vincent look like someone with "established" position? Look at the legs lol.

I really loathe the offensive fouls where the defender is searching for the call. If you are in place, then call it. But i hate it when some small player sees a big going in so he jumps in front of him at the last second and often gets the call. BS

CLEAR blocking foul. These guys that try to slide in to get a charge? That's not why the rule was created. NBA please get a handle on this bs.

Defenders who aren't between the basket and the offensive driver coming in last min to try to take a charge outside the circle instead of making a basketball play.

If you slow it down Edwards is already past his gathering of the basketball before the defender was set or occupying that space.
This is not what the charge call is for but it's what it became.

It's supposed to be like "stand your ground" you have the right to be in your space and guys can't bully through you. Not u no where between the basket and driver, coming there to try to establish your space at the last min. That's not in the spirit of basketball.

Completely agree, and you can thank all the Kyle Lowrys and Derek Fishers of the NBA for that. And these guys have always been celebrated for this kind of crap, just looking to flop on anyone driving on them and throwing themselves under jumpers last second like this. What does the league do? Lets take away offensive flopping instead because data shows casual fans get bored and complain when watching too many free throws but they cheer when Kyle Lowry does dumb crap like this. I honestly wonder how many Lowry fans would be claiming this is a legit charge if it was him instead, I’m sure a lot.

Honestly, he pretty much already is.
What would you pay a guy putting up 18 and 11 in the playoffs?

Doesn't matter what his name is, a charge is a charge. Not saying it was the right call, but whoever takes it shouldn't matter.

In any case, super lame that this was called a charge. The defender's feet were not set when Anthony Edwards took off. That isn't how charges work.

i don't even care if the defender was set. When it's a highlight like this, you have to let it go.
Fine these refs.

#
That's bull. I don't say it was an offensive foul, but if it was just great defense; it should be rewarded.
People should care more about sound fundamentals and good d than flashy dunks.
