“The Players Association changed a little bit of things. And guys like LeBron, Wade, and Chris Paul… People don’t understand how Chris Paul, LeBron, D-Wade, and all those guys did a lot for the retired players. They signed a deal years ago, where we all got free health care. If it weren’t for LeBron and all these people, we wouldn’t have had that free health care.”

Mitch was my favorite player when I was a kid. Still love the guy.
Nice to see an older player with great perspective and doesn’t just want to **** on the younger generation.

You can pay homage, then you can *pay* homage. Really happy to see that at least the players side are contributing doing so in a consistent and financial manner (as the league does their top 75 stuff). I hope to see more of it.

Why can’t Lebron do this for regular people and not spoiled former athletes? Also he’s just doing this for attention, it’s not a genuine act whatever that means. Because he’s the devil personified, can’t wait until he retires! - RealGM’s Lebron haters brigade probably

Lebron is out there elbowing people like Isiah Stewart without a care in the world, because he knows the man's got that health care covered. He only fought for that deal so he could elbow people, you know.

so lebron made it possible for poor big baby davis to fall into life of crime by defrauding the nba and its healthcare benefits.
dragged him into it more likely. big baby just sitting there enjoying post-nba career and lebron just had to dangle this in front of him.
