Alright so there are problems in Indiana.
There was a poster last month saying Turner was a Carlisle favorite.
We really know nothing as fans lol

Turner to Golden State for Wiseman, Looney and Moody makes too much sense not to happen.

I think that was me.
Now to be clear what I was saying specifically was that when Rick was still coaching Dallas the opposing player he raved about the most was Turner. He constantly was praising him as the ideal modern center.
Now I fully concede that its possible that once he had Turner playing for him, he doesn't like him near as much. But my guess is Carlisle still really likes him, but simply has a different view of how to use him from how Turner would like to be used. Rick loves centers who can protect the rim and either rim run or shoot 3's on offense. If Turner sees himself in more of a Sabonis role, I'd find it unlikely any coach wants to use him like that, much less Carlisle.

Why would Indiana do that though?

To rebuild with two young pieces, one of whom has extremely high upside.

Aside from debates about value, how does Turner make sense for GSW when he specifically wants to leave to be more than a ‘role player’ (to use his words). It's not like it's easier to have touches and get shots up in Golden State than in Indiana. Our Centers have notoriously been reduced to smaller roles in the past and it was a key argument in favor of Turner that he can play effectively in a small offensive role.
Also, why would Indiana take two Centers back – both of whom aren't known to be shooters – when they have Sabonis and the thought process behind most draft proposals was to move on from Turner to get a non-big in return.

But that's what he is though. He's a role player not a star. If he wants a situation where he's the featured guy then that's a team that will lose a lot of games.

It makes no sense for Indy, they dont need young center, they have 2 starting centers and young center in Bitadze. They can get better piece than Wiseman.

Just because Rick likes him does not mean Rick thinks he should get more opportunities. Anyway, I believe Myles Turner is a huge asset for a champion aspiring team. Just look at how important Brook Lopez is for the Bucks.

Fair enough. Flip Wiseman to a 3rd team like Charlotte then.

The fit in Golden State is obvious. Draymond Green is awesome when he has spacing around him, but less so when he is alongside a non-shooter. That's why the "death lineup" with Draymond at the 5 is so dominant. Myles Turner unlocks the "death lineup" offensively, while still allowing Golden State to play big with elite rim protection on defense.
Whether or not Turner would be happy in a role as a 3rd/4th option catch and shoot guy is secondary when he is going to a team that would be the championship favorites after that trade. Winning fixes most problems.

Re: Myles Turner complaining about his role in Indiana?
I know most fans see Turner as the ultimate puzzle piece to change their team: the 3&D center.
I'm constantly underwhelmed by Turner when he does anything besides protect the rim (which he's amazing at). He can shoot, but the release isn't quick. He has a high center of gravity and weak, inflexible legs, so he gets knocked around the paint. He very much is a role player. A valuable role player yes, but I'm not sure what Turner thinks he could do on another roster.

The Bucks need to make an aggressive offer for Turner. They haven't looked anything like themselves without Lopez, and there is no guarantee that a guy in his mid 30's coming off back surgery will come even close to playing at the same level as before.

Agreed. Raps fans really want him and I just don't see it. Sure I'd love to have him, but considering what he would cost and make us a barely a 2nd round team at best.
